I just received my new Lure 11.5 V2 Kayak. I took my first fishing trip & it was a very stable boat. I was able to cover the water easily and catch many trout. Very happy!
The boat is well designed and well-built its performance meets all my expectations but the best part of the experience was the customer service that I received.
Great service throughout whole process of buying my kayak
I ordered mine direct from feelfree and delivery and packaging were excellent. I'm new to kayaking and decided on the Lure right out of the gates. I've only taken it out once and very happy with the purchase. The wheel makes it a cinch to load by myself. Still getting used to the kayaks features and it's fairly easy to see the quality. You get what you pay for like they say.
Finally had the chance to get it in the water. It handled very well. Did find standing up did not feel stable for me so a bar may be the solution. Didn't feel it would flip but I am an old guy and thought I might lose my balance. Just added a fish finder and discovered they did a great job on the console design . Added a Garmin Striker Vivid 7 CV. Some videos on YouTube were helpful but it all seemed logical. Saw others had to do all sorts of mods to install on other brands. Feel Free even accounted for the fact the transducer cable will be very long so they added a hole to bring the excess cable into the console and then lead out the top. Not a cable one would typically want to cut and splice. The design of the hole in the hull for the console is brilliant. They put some thought in to insure it protects the transducer if attached to the bottom of the console. I can remove the console and all the fish finder components are attached making it easy and fast to store for security and travel. The seat in the kayak doesn't hurt my back after hours of fishing. Used another kayak which was torture. I don't miss my bass boat.
