Haven’t had a chance to use it with lakes iced over but looks like a well built kayak, with a lot of thought put into the design.
This is my first kayak purchase and first time fishing out of one. It is an awesome boat! I have taken it out three times so far using my Tenkara rods. It has been stable, fast, and tracks beautifully even without the rudder, which I will eventually get to keep myself parallel to shore in higher winds. I have only paddled in the low position and haven't raised the seat or stood up yet, so I can't comment on that. I plan on testing that out when the weather gets nicer, just in case I take a swim. :) There is a ton of space and features, some I haven't used yet. I plan on getting a fish finder eventually and trying out the sonar pod, which I use now to store my phone and other items in. The seat is very comfortable for hours of paddling. The boat is lighter than most fishing kayaks, although still heavy and it is a challenge solo, to get it up onto a SUV with roof racks. However it is not impossible and once you get the hang out it, you can do it in about 10 mins or so. I love the winter camo color. I have gotten compliments about the boat at the launch. Customer service at Feelfree is great and answered all my questions when I was researching the initial purchase. I also bought a Feelfree Juntos kayak for my wife and she loves her yak as well. Overall I am very pleased.
I have fallen in love with this kayak so stable
We bought two Moken 12.5's. My homework paid off. We took them out for the first time on an Ozark river over the weekend. We are impressed with the maneuverability in fast water and the tracking ability in the pools. Feelfree got it right with these kayaks. There's more storage space than I expected so definitely could go on an overnight trip. We had a slight problem with shipping but feelfree helped us so well we will recommend them and they will continue to get our business. Can't wait for the next adventure with these kayaks.
I love my kayak it’s been so much fun on the water. I e used it quite a bit already the only gripe I have is it’s not compatible with the overdrive pedal system.
